  • How do I know this live training is for me?
    If you are the owner or manager of a small, independent hotel, lodge, b&b or hostel, then this live training is designed specifically with you in mind. If you feel frustrated and overwhelmed by the external factors that the pandemic has inflicted on the industry, then this training will help you to get confident that you are doing all you can. It will allow you to take back control and get on top of what you need to do right now to stay in the game. My insights come from practical experience (running own hostel and then a lakeside lodge) and from academic knowledge (Masters in International Responsible Tourism Management). I also pulled my business and many others in the area through two natural disasters in southern Chile that – both times - wiped out all our reservations for months – the 8.8 earthquake in 2010, and the eruption of the Villarrica volcano in 2015. Those strategies that kept us afloat have been modified for the current Covid situation and will help you too to build a more resilient future for your business.
  • How can I take part in the calls?
    The calls will be via Zoom. Once you are registered, you will be sent a unique link to access each call. There will be opportunities to ask questions during the calls and a Q&A after each one.
  • What dates and times are the calls?
    Call 1 will be on Thursday 6 May. Call 2 on Monday 10 May. Call 3 on Thursday 13 May. Call 4 on Monday 17 May. Call 5 on Thursday 20 May. Each call will take place at 20:00 Central European Time (CET).
  • How long will the calls last?
    Each call will last for an hour but that can of course be extended if there are lots of burning questions that just have to be answered.
  • Is there any additional work to do outside of the calls?
    I will provide worksheets and self-assessment tools that are related to the content of each call. You will optimise what you learn from the training if you take an additional 30 minutes approximately after each call to complete these. I will also send out a very short survey after each call to make sure that your most burning questions about the topic of the next call are covered.
  • Will replays of the calls be available?
    Yes, replays will be shared via email to registered participants. It is of course a great opportunity to be on the live calls because you will have time to ask questions as we go through the content.
  • Will I be able to ask questions during the calls?
    Definitely! I will put everyone on mute of course while I am presenting each sub-topic, but then you will have chance to ask questions after each section and in the Q&A at the end.
  • What is the cost for the five live calls?
    The cost of these 5 live training calls is US$ 97. That’s just under US$ 20 per call to get confident in marketing your property in under three weeks. I must mention that the course will never be this price again. I am putting this together on the basis of the patterns of frequently asked questions I detected over the last few weeks so now is the time to get the content out there in this format. That will change in the future.
  • How can I pay?
    You can pay via Paypal or with credit card.
  • Is there a payment plan available?
    I am afraid not, not this time.
  • What if I start the calls and then realise this training is just not for me?
    I will offer a full refund if you are present in the first call but then after that decide it is not for you. If that is the case, just send me an email and I will go ahead and organise a full refund.
  • I want to learn specifically about targeted email marketing. Is there a course just on that?
    That course is in the development process. My research showed me that there are many people wanting to get confident about their overall strategy before moving on to a more complex targeted email strategy.   • How do I know that you can really help me?
